Messages - Andrew Jimenez (Patch My PC)

#256
Hello,

We have been unable to replicate this issue, could we get a screenshot of your "Add/Remove Programs" window showing this application? Thanks!
#257
So does Option 1 not work on newer clients? We may be able to incorportate Option 2 as a post-script, we'll discuss internally and see if we can add this directly to the product.

Thank you so much for providing this info!
#258
Looks like we base the requirement on the title and some internal data. We're going to be looking at the requirements rules in the near future and see if we can make some improvements here.
#259
If you delete an application, Patch My PC will recreate it on the next sync.

I will double-check with the developers what the requirement is to add the x64 requirement to an app.
#260
Can you delete and recreate the Update within Intune and see if it detects correctly now? Thanks!
#261
Hello,

We have been able to reproduce this issue and are looking into a solution.
#262
Today, requirements are placed on 64-bit apps so that they only install on 64-bit devices, 32-bit apps are able to be installed on either 32 or 64 bit devices.

If you attach custom requirements to an app created by Patch My PC, those should be transferred when new versions are released, so you could do that as a workaround.

Hi Tyler,

Can I get a bit more clarification? Which problem are you referencing here? Thanks!
#264
So we currently populate this flag for HKLM, but we cannot populate HKCU at this time. In order to set that flag for HKCU, you'll likely need to use a GPO or some other method to set: HKCU:\SOFTWARE\Zoom\OutlookPlugin\autoUpdate:dword:0

I assume if it is set at the HKLM level, that setting will actually be set for new users, but not for existing users.
#265
ohh it has to be done per user... That is... not good. I'll see if we can support that scenario.
#266
Can you link me to that reddit thread? We'll look at adding this as well.
#267
Create either of the following Reg key values:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Citrix\ICA Client\AutoUpdate\Commandline Policy\LTSROnly = true
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Citrix\ICA Client\AutoUpdate\LTSROnly = true
#268
The issue there is that if you have both Workspace and Workspace LTSR published, since there is nothing else differentiating them, both would be applicable.

We did however add in the install string to set the LTSROnly flag, so if you deploy Workspace LTSR via our App method, future patches from Patch My PC will be LTSR.
#269
So during our testing for Workspace LTSR, we found that if you install the application and do not define LTSROnly to equal true, then during an auto-update, the app will actually revert itself to non-ltsr. Additionally, there is no other indication for the LTSR app that the application is actually an LTSR release. Because of this, we chose to use the LTSROnly reg value to determine if the Citrix Workspace install is actually an LTSR installation. If you know of any other methods of determining if the app is in fact LTSR, we'd be happy to test that.

We are not superseding Citrix Receiver LTSR at this time because Receiver LTSR is still supported, once Receiver LTSR falls out of support, we will likely supersede it with the latest Workspace LTSR.

Thanks! This actually helped us identify a bug! Should be fixed in the next release!
