Hello, we only had a single catalog release on the 21st and did not make any revisions to the applications listed.

Please feel free to send in your PatchMyPC.log to support, and mention Andrew, and I can look at the log and see why those applications were revised.
We'll be adding those additional binaries to the list of conflicting processes early next week. Thanks for letting us know!
I'll pass that info on to the web team. I've found adding the version number to the search is extremely helpful when looking for specific changes as well.

Generally, when we make a revision to an update, we post the revision on the release notes for that day. For example, here's a release where we made a revision to dbeaver: https://patchmypc.com/patch-my-pc-catalog-update-06-10-24

Revisions can also occur if right-click options for updates are changed.
Roadmap is still the best place for it. I'll ask around and see if we can get that updated on a more frequent schedule.

You are free to use Scriptrunner to do the notifications, but we cannot offer any support for using Scriptrunner in this manner.
I'm hoping we'll have a Player update this week. We are having to purchase a license for workstation to get access to the full download, as the only option we've found without purchasing a license is a stripped-down MSI, not the full installer.

I do not see an Software either with the vendor SQLite Manager, or name SQLite Manager in our supported products list. What is the product name within Patch My PC so that we may check it.

Addtionally, can you confirm that this is for our enterprise catalog, and not for our home updater?
We should have it in the catalog today, however Plantronics has moved the installer behind a paywall, so unfortunately, we are switching this product to a local content product today: https://patchmypc.com/local-content-repository-for-licensed-applications-that-require-manual-download

The other condition for this issue to occur is having the "Copy requirement rules" checkbox in the Patch My PC Intune Options checked. We're going to add a fix for this issue in a future release, however, it won't be backwards compatible, so the fix this time will be manual. Remove the Powershell applicability rule for the older version of Zoom Meetings.
We are investigating this issue, updates have been working in our testing, so we have been gathering logs and are trying to determine the cause for this issue.

You can usually find the command line needed by searching for the product name + silent install on your favorite search engine.

The command-line arguments will differ per application. If you need to add command-line arguments, use the right-click option "Modify Command Line" as referenced here: https://patchmypc.com/custom-options-available-for-third-party-updates-and-applications#modify-command-line

Note that you only need to put the additional command options there.

For Snagit for example, you would just add: TSC_SOFTWARE_KEY=LICENSEKEY

I think we might need to see installation logs here. It sounds like there might be another installation that is downgrading the app after Patch My PC successfully upgrades it.

  • Once an MST is applied during an install, another MST can't be used later during an update (say, to change one setting).
  • During an update or repair, the installer references the MST file that the installation used when it was first installed.
  • The only way to use a different MST is to uninstall the product and then reinstall with a new MST file.
