The requirements will only set on new applications or when an update is released for an application. This setting will not revise existing applications already created at the latest version on sync.

Hi - I have a few apps that I would like to set to only run on workstation OS.  In PMPC, I select to only allow on workstations; when I run a sync, the app doesn't appear at all in the summary email, and when I check the application's Requirements tab in deployment type, there are no entries.  Should I see something in there, or does the PMPC installer determine OS type?

This should be fixed in today's update.

exclusively to 3rd party updates pretty much all reporting is marking as "non-compliant" with most machines reporting "not installed" for only about 5 out of the 11.

Is this an individual update(s) showing not compliant or an entire software update group? Can you review the applicability on an update against a https://patchmypc.com/how-to-view-applicability-rules-and-troubleshoot-detection-states-for-third-party-updates

The question is how does the silent task elevate privileges without any user interaction.

It would not unless the scheduled task is running as SYSTEM or if your run as a user and the user is an admin, and the option to run with the highest privileges is set.

You can control that in the scheduled task. There is an option to run with the highest privileges.

UAC is required due to the nature of what we do (install apps).

We don't support MUI at the moment. You can right-click and exclude for now.
