Hello Fau5tarp
You dont have to unselect, right click the version of putty in the publisher and 3rd from the bottom is "republish during next sync schedule" then manually sync your publisher. Make sure to check to see if you SUP is done syncing, it goes to WSUS first and then to CM. You can also see if the "Republished" update is showing in WSUS by looking at the published Updates wizard: https://patchmypc.com/modify-published-third-party-updates-wizard.  If you continue to have issue then please submit a support case from https://patchmypc.com/technical-support and include the following logs: https://patchmypc.com/collecting-log-files-for-patch-my-pc-support#publishing-service-logs.  You can also gather them by clicking on the collect logs button in the bottom right of the publisher.

The easier thing may just be to have a machine group for your pilot(test) of 6.2.2, exclude it from the 5.2.9 assignment.  Then have the 6.2.2 required to your test group, that way you are managing the devices by taking them in and out of the group instead of potentially breaking assignment by adding complexity.

Hi CMB
Thanks for the question. Not at this moment but we are working to have something along these lines sometime this year, no ETA as of yet.

You are using the Home Updater, which is the free version.  It is a portable app and runs seamlessly, if you are having issues then it is caused by your OS upgrade.  You will need to repair your .Net Framework installation using this article: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/microsoft-net-framework-repair-tool-is-available-942a01e3-5b8b-7abb-c166-c34a2f4b612a

Hi Synalis
The scriptrunner.exe will need to be excluded or patch my pc applications will not work.  There are some processes that it has to launch in the user context for notification, which may be what is triggering the alert.

Hi DKL
We are aware of the newer version release but the release notes is all that is available for us at the moment, once the public download URL is available we will publish the updated version.

Yes if you are only manually assigning them and you have the copy assignments turned off.  https://patchmypc.com/intune-application-creation-options#topic2

It might be beneficial to have an environmental review with us to go over this with you https://calendly.com/patch-my-pc-live-demos/patch-my-pc-environment-review-session

I just confirmed the download link is correct.  It is getting blocked from your side, you will need to make sure that your server's account where the PMPC publisher is installed has access to https://download.gimp.org/pub/gimp/v2.10/windows/gimp-2.10.32-setup-1.exe  If you have any other questions or need to troubleshoot more please submit a case to https://patchmypc.com/technical-support

Dell made some major changes with Dell Command Update with 4.7.1 and we had to follow accordingly. Unfortunately, when we made changes on our backend to account for Dell's changes, we failed to clear the cache and so the changes we made were not reflected until today. If you republish your "Dell Command Update for Windows 10" Intune App and Update, you should get better results. Note that the regular "Dell Command Update" in our catalog has been expired, as Dell is only supporting the "Universal" version. We'll consolidate "Dell Command Update" and "Dell Command Update for Windows 10" into "Dell Command Update for Windows Universal" with our next Patch My PC Publisher release.

Hi Eddie
We allow you to set options Globally at the All Products level but that doesn't mean that the code from the vendors installer file will allow all of those options.  Adobe is one of those vendors that doesnt give us those options.RemoteDesktopManagerFree_yfO5VPZpPb.png

Hi Eddie
That should not cause a reboot, there may be another process that caused it. The switches run with that can be found by looking at the show package info or looking at the Modify published updates wizard which is a look into WSUS.  https://patchmypc.com/modify-published-third-party-updates-wizard

Please go to https://patchmypc.com/technical-support and include your client logs to help us see what the issue is

Hi
Could you submit a support case for this on https://patchmypc.com/technical-support
Please include the logs from the publisher by clicking on the collect logs button on the General tab.  We need to dig deeper into what is going on.

Hi Joe
For adobe that would done when you created the custom MST file using their tool to apply to the install or in scheduled task you can turn off their updater  https://www.wintips.org/how-to-disable-automatic-update-in-adobe-reader-dc/, Notepad ++ is a little more difficult  https://community.notepad-plus-plus.org/topic/19241/disable-auto-update-checking-and-update

The user deferred the installation from the manage conflicting process options you have set. You can modify those in the publisher, here is the link to the documentation: https://patchmypc.com/manage-conflicting-processes-when-updating-third-party-applications
