The latest update seems to have removed the URLs of the products that failed to download. Some domains are blocked for security reasons and I have to download them from a secure machine, however, with the logs file no longer showing the URL of the software it tried to download, this task has been made significantly more difficult.

I even submitted a feature request last year: https://ideas.patchmypc.com/ideas/PATCHMYPC-I-2221, in an attempt to try and improve what we had before, by including the URLs in the email report for better visibility. Instead, it's been made worse and I'm left searching for random bits of software to get them downloaded and patched.

I'm losing all the time PMPC is meant to be saving me.

The certificate used to sign "PatchMyPC-ScriptRunner.exe" has apparently expired as of September 8th, 2022. As a result, patches are getting blocked by our AV, as the EXE is no longer approved.

How do we resolve this issue?

I've just noticed the backup of settings has stopped working since September 30th, and I'm getting the below error. There are 100 files in that folder, and it appears to have just stopped working.

QuoteAn error occurred while copying the settings file to the backup folder: Could not find file 'D:\Program Files\Patch My PC\Patch My PC Publishing Service\Backup\Settings10_7_2022 3_50_40 AM.cab'.

I'm running version 2.1.6.0 on Windows Server 2019.

Whenever I receive the Publishing Service Reports there are often multiple failed downloads, as we block some domains for security reasons (GitHub, etc.).

To save me time when I'm downloading them manually, would it be possible to include the download URL within the report as well? Currently, it only links to the change log of the application, which is nice, but I would also appreciate being able to download all those applications with a single click from within the email itself.

I've been synchronising PMPC but I still don't see the out of band patch for Firefox 97.02 which addresses zero-day vulnerabilities, will this be getting released via PMPC?

We use a white-listing app (Carbon Black App Control) in our environment and have specific rules setup to allow these update to installations. Recently, we've been inundated with blocks for Notepad++ 8.1.9 which is now installing from "C:\Windows\softwaredistribution\download\install" instead of CCMCACHE.

Has this install behavior changed recently?

Hello,

I'm doing my first sync with PMP Enterprise today and the majority of updates have published without any issues, however I got the below errors near the end of my sync. I can download all of the affected links without being blocked by our firewall, and as the other updates worked (Adobe, DisplayLink, etc.) it doesn't seem to be a server or account issue.

The publisher points me to the Digest KB, but it's not reporting a digest error, as far as I can tell...

I've just started trialling the Patch My PC publishing service for my company and I'm getting the below error for all versions of Adobe Flash. I've checked the FAQ and it doesn't seem to be a firewall issue as I can successfully download the executable. This being my first time using the product I'm not exactly sure how to troubleshoot it. Is there something that I'm doing wrong?

Recently installed WSUS onto our SCCM server, all the updates are showing up for Patch My PC and I can download them without any problems.

On my two test clients I've installed an old version of 7zip and Notepad++ 64bit. On the clients I can see the self-signed certificate and client settings have applied the changes to the local computer policy to allow signed updates. I'm using an ADR to deploy both updates to the machines and it's reporting back as downloaded and deployed.

I've forced the Software Deployment Scan on the machines but I still cannot see the updates in the Software Center Updates tab - any assistance would be greatly appreciated! :)
