It sounds exactly like this issue https://patchmypc.net/forum/index.php?topic=955.0 from a few years ago. I'm using the newest version of PMPC, and cannot find the file that it sounds like deleting fixes.

After running pmpc one time I did some windows updates and such, so it seems windows 10 may have done something similar to what is described in the other post. I've deleted everything pmpc related that I could find, but have had no luck.

Can you give us more details on the problem and screenshots if possible? :)

I am also having the same issue. I start PatchMyPC, it indicates that there are 6 updates. I click Perform 6 Updates and nothing happens. I am including a screenshot. The log shows as listed below. I have re-created the issue on another machine and left it overnight. Nothing there either.

Same issue here as well since the previous version. Update process seems to start, then quits immediately.

Any update on this?  I am still experiencing the exact same issue as before. I thought it may be my AntiVirus Software so I disabled it and tried again. No luck.

Got it! Let us run some test and see if we can get a repro.

Justin Chalfant (Patch My PC)

Do you have a repro on a machine right now?

GUSD

I can reproduce the issue on several machines.  What can I do to help?

Justin Chalfant (Patch My PC)

If I email you a Zoom Meeting for screen sharing, could we check out your device that is reporting this issue? Maybe sometime this afternoon?
