All of a sudden, PatchMyPc gives a 'forbidden' error, and will not run, unless I disable my VPN. My firewalls (well, software and router and ISP firewalls) seem to not be part of the problem. I've Windows 8.1 and the VPN software I am using is OpenVPN. Compare perhaps this: https://patchmypc.com/forum/index.php?topic=2285.msg5949#msg5949. A few weeks ago I did not have the problem (and I don't think I upgraded anything relevant).
