Title: Problems with Foxit Reader 7.0.6.1126

Foxit Reader 7.0.6.1126 installation is failing. Using SCCM 2012/SCUP. Other updates from PatchMyPC are working fine.

Event log - system: Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x80070643: Foxit Reader 7.0.6.1126.

Event log - Application: Product: Foxit Reader -- Previous installation of Foxit Reader detected. You need to manually uninstall it before installing current version.

How do I get the update to automatically uninstall previous versions? I am running 7.0.3.916 on my testcomputers now.

Hi Jon,

Do you currently have the .EXE installed version of Foxit Reader installed? The MSI installer (Version we use in the catalog) isn't able to uninstall previous versions of Foxit Reader if there where installed using the .EXE installer.
