Notepad ++ requires to you terminate the process before the update can successfully applied. If Notepad ++ is open the version in the registry may update however the actual files in the program files don't update.

Thanks for reaching out, can you try a resync. We did have a glitch yesterday

We test every software update using the software updates model in ConfigMgr and WSUS. The detection methods we use for base applications are a little different than updates.

We pay few throusends dollars for your services and visibly, you didn't make correctly your job.

You are 100% right with the quote above. For this change in Adobe Reader in the latest version, we failed to do our part in testing the situations for the change in the name, I'm following up with our team, and I will follow up with you on how we will ensure we catch these situations in the future.

unfortunately, PatchMyPC serves here an excellent example of how usability should not be done :-(

As a note: In our IT, I'm responsible for our approximately 500 employees and I am using PatchMyPC Home Edition to evaluate whether the product would be interesting for us. The features are quite good, but the usability is unfortunately poor, so I will not recommend the product at this time.
I'm pretty sure that the PatchMyPC Home Edition does serve as a test for other users to use at the company, but unfortunately, it gives the impression of a somewhat lovelessly programmed / not yet mature product.

Of course, there are good news: I think there's very little missing: cleaning up the user interface / improving usability and it would be a great product.


To my question to expand / collapse the groups:
Why not just make the search box a bit narrower and place a button next to it with a context menu for the complete Package list?
Of course, it should not just have a long list of unrelated menu item, but in the context of the Package list useful functions?

Yes, you can use the home updater.

It looks like this is posted in our free home updater space. Are you using SCCM or Intune or just the home updater?

Been through the setup video but everything looks ok but the PMPC doesn't show as a product under SUP

Any pointers I know this is going to be something small I have missed I guess.
