According to https://www.autohotkey.com/docs/v2/Program.htm#install
it seems that the silent switch is now /silent and no longer /S.

Hi Justin, Omar,

the latest Auto Hot Key (AHK) update is throwing an error
Invalid arg "/S"
and finishing with an exit code 1, so installation does not happen.

Could you please take a look at that?

Thanks,
Mike

Omar,

I did have Microsoft Silverlight on this computer, but I'm pretty sure I have not had any other SW containing that name.
Anywho I've done a search of my whole C:-drive and Explorer did find that string on multiple occasions, either in a filename or contained within a file.

C:\Program Files (x86)\AutoIt3\Examples\Helpfile\Extras\Silverlight.png seems to have been the culprit.
I've moved it to another drive and PMP no longer showed Silverlight.
Moved it back where it belongs and it no longer seems to be detected. Will see how it progresses.

A bit crude, that detection on PMP's side, wouldn't you say?

Hi all,

I'm getting a detection of Microsoft Silverlight 5.1.50918.0.

I am at a loss about what I can do to actually remove whatever PMP is detecting. I do realize that I can set ignore, but I would actually prefer a cleaner solution (pun intended).

Hi David,

check out these threads:

https://patchmypc.com/forum/index.php?topic=4994.0

You will probably find what you're looking for in the Add/Remove Programs in many cases. In others you may have to look around your computer or ask more specifically.

Best of luck,

Hi Omar,

could you perhaps consider adding OBS Subsurface?
see https://subsurface-divelog.org/

Best regards,
Michael

Hi Omar,

would you perhaps consider adding OBS Virtualcam?

Thanks,
Michael

I fixed it thanks to a reply from Omar in another thread.

There were actually multiple installations of these programs on my computer. Most of them I could simply identify and deinstall from Add/Remove Programs.
For Skype I had to deinstall all versions and reinstall the current one (using PMP).
For Audacity the old Version didn't show up in Add/Remove programs, soI had to find and manually run the uninst.exe from the old 32-bit installation folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Audacity and afterwards manually delete this folder.

Now everything looks spiffy. :-)
Thanks again, Omar!

Could you please consider adding an explicit warning when multiple versions/installations of the same software have been found?

It means you have older update of OBS Studio installed (27.1.3) with the latest one
You have to manually remove it from Add/Remove Programs

Omar, you are correct.
I've now removed both the old OBS Studio version and the old OBS VirtualCam version and run PMP. Now it looks good both in Add/Remove Programs and in  PMP.
Thank you!

I have a different blender version, but the same issue with blender and inkscape (among others).
