5.0.11.0 is a preview update, you must have enabled that option from settings on that device that got updated! It will be released to the stable channel very soon.

It doesn't auto install.
The only thing auto installs with the Home Updater is the latest Windows Desktop Runtime 8.0.x

Thank you for the heads-up! This is now fixed

"Disable silent install" means disable the app from installing silently, which means it will run the installation manually and you have to install it yourself step by step. This has nothing to do with the removed option "Download Only Mode" or "Keeping the installers after updating".

Switched to the new ones that uses .NET 8

Latest changelog is for 1.13.6.773
But latest download is 1.13.5.772

Sorry to hear about this! Yeah NVDA had some changes in their installer which made us not be able to update it in Patch My PC Home Updater v4.
However, we released Home Updater v5 recently and this issue is fixed in it and NVDA now is up to date at v2024.4.1 Home Updater v4 support will end soon anyway.

1. I have changed my downloads location to e:\downloads but after updating my apps I do not see the downloaded updates in e:\downloads.  Where are they held? Are they deleted, and if so can I stop this?

2. I updated Mozilla Thunderbird & Firefox via the app, but after opening the programs they had not been updated. The downloads appeared to complete and install.

It would be nice if the scope was wider, how I miss SUMO, but it's a good program
