PATCHMYPC is alerting of new version for VLC - 3.0.9.2.
But the version available for download in VLC site is still only 3.0.8

A new beta version of winamp 5.8 is available and I installed it over the old version 5.6666,
but PatchMyPC 4.1.0.1 is alerting that the version is still 5.6666.

In the uninstaller tab,  PatchMyPC shows version 5.8.
Windows 10 home "programs and features" screen shows 5.8.
the only winamp.exe on the hard-disk is 5.8

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Patch My PC\Options: PortableAppPath contains C:\util\PatchMyPC\PortableApps
This directory does exists, and has been used successfully by PatchMyPC until the recent beta. the permissions hasn't been changed.
When I perform update to a portable app, it does it successfully, but put the file in path c:\

Is there a way to save a desire window size of PatchMyPC?
I enlarged the window as I prefer it, but the next time the program started, it return to it's default size

To Omar,
I deleted roguekiller reg entry and now all is OK
Thank you

I re-checked and could not find any other installation except the newest  12.12.1

My PatchMyPC (3.4.0.0) is false alerting roguekiller in red
it shows that current version 12.11.30 should upgrade to 12.12.1
But my roguekiller is already 12.12.1
I uninstalled roguekiller, delete any file on my window disk that refer to it (windows 10 home 64 bit),
then re-installed it,  but the alert remains.

The "self updater" option was disabled by mistake.
It is Ok now.
Thanks

If I understand you correctly (please forgive my English),
after enabling "beta updates" and restarting the app,
PatchMyPC is starting with the program title "patch my pc updater 3.2.0.1"
and in the tab "about" I get "You are running the latest version 3.2.0.1" .
(windows 10 home 64 bit).

I did. no effect.
Tried also to change other options. change exe location. restart pc.  same results.

Maybe I missing something. I have already done that without successes.
I am not referring to any other software, but to PatchMyPC itself.
I choose "Enable Beta Updates" from Options menu, then restart PatchMyPC, then go to about.
But I still get "You are running the latest version 3.2.0.1" and do not see any link to the beta 3.2.0.11
