Messages - Omar (Patch My PC)

Can you tell us more details about this please?
#32
This is weird! I'm using 200% DPI at 4K and never faced this issue!
Can you please send us a screeenshot and tell us what's exactly the resolution that you are using and at what percentage of DPI?
#33
This issue is now fixed with the latest installer :) Thank you so much again for helping us fixing it! 🙏🏻
#34
Ok I think I noticed the same issue too! Thank you for the details! Will work on fixing this soon.
For now, can you use Add/Remove Programs and check there for these apps?
#35
Does the uninstaller work fine when you close the home updater and open it again?
#36
Very interesting! Ok let's fix this together!

1- Are these the only ones? the 7 ones in the red checkmark?
2- Are you 100% sure that these weren't even installed and removed in the past? If yes then this probably means that you have other apps with some common names from these ones!
Can you open the Uninstaller tab and search for these apps and tell me what will show up? search for SFXMaker for example and tell me what's the result in the uninstaller tab.

BTW, you can "Disable silent install" for AutoHotKey and SumatraPDF and install/update them manually and choose to install them for user! but you will have to do this with every new update unfortunately.
#38
Everyone is responsible of what they are installing 😁
Also this is for home users and their personal PCs/Laptops, not for companies and work environments!
#39
Yeah PMPC installs apps as admin since this is the default way and the majority of users are using it too :) There are no problems installing apps as admin :)
#40
Thank you so much for your support :) We are working on improving it more and more every day :)
#41
Did you install Zoom Workplace using an MSI installer? if so then it will not be detected because the one we use is the EXE (The most common one).
#42
Some apps just takes a long time to update, if you waited it will be done eventually.
#43
Hey there, can you send us a screenshot please?
#44
Sorry about this! But we actually just released the Home Updater v5.0.0 now! and this issue is fixed in it :) it's a totally new app now! please let us know what you think! :)

Yeah that's not cool :(
In this case you can disable silent installation for PDF X-Change so you can manually uncheck the "make default app" button, until hopefully they provide a command line for this later!
