Title: Adding Password Safe to SCUP?
Post by: ABurns on March 22, 2017, 09:08:30 AM
I know KeePass is part of the catalog, but in our organization we've been using password safe.

any way this could be looked at getting added to SCUP catalog?

We have to use "msi" installer not "exe" because there is a problem with the silent switch of the "exe" installer. is this ok with you?

Do you have a switch for the msi installer to upgrade from older version to a new version? Because old version must be removed manually before installing a new one! We can't find any switches for that, if you don't have one then I'm afraid we can't add it. Simply because it fails to install.

you are correct, looks like it won't install over the top of an older version.

i'll look at doing this with application deployment
