We are building a new SCCM server and need to transfer Patch My PC to it. I'm looking for advice, dos and don'ts and if there will be any licensing issues. Thanks.

Hey :)

Thanks for reaching out :)

You can backup the publisher settings, install the publisher on your new SUP and re-import the settings again. We have a KB for this topic at https://patchmypc.com/backup-and-restore-publisher-settings

If you need any more help with this, please dont hesitate to book a setup call with one of our engineers at https://patchmypc.com/schedule-setup-call

Excellent information! I just discovered your site and have been following along. I intended to post my initial comment. The only thing I can say is that I have.

Additional question:  How should one "manually update" the settings export?

Hey there, sorry we missed your question. What do you wish to manually edit on the backup xml file?
