Title: Firefox 68 x64 download error
Post by: AIonescu on July 10, 2019, 03:29:29 AM
Hello,

I'm doing a PoC for PatchMyPC. I have set up an ADR for Firefox - and when I run it fails to download it. In the ruleengine.log I have "Failed to download the update from internet. Error = 5"

Regards

Error 5 = Access denied. This usually means you don't have access to the UNC path you are using for the deployment package source path.

Hello Justin,
I've checked the permissions and they look OK - both computer accounts(Primary Site + SUP/MP), my account and the account I've used to set up PatchMyPC have full rights over the path. In fact, I can create folders from the SCCM console.
I've also tried to manually deploy the software and it was no problem, I was able to create the package.
Regards

Hello Justin,

In the end, I was able to solve it by moving the Packages share on another server. There, with the same access rights, it worked OK.

Thank you for your support.
