So it would be good to disable Paint.NET for x86 to avoid the false download and failing installation.

Thanks for the information.
I removed 7-zip, but PMPC still wants to download the MSI.

As of https://www.7-zip.org/download.html there are only EXE installers available for release 21.05
#65
Waterfox is already included, see attached image.

You can check the installation information and add the install location column.

  • press [Windows] + [R]
  • enter appwiz.cpl and hit enter
  • see attached images for further steps

According to https://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html#version-history the current CPU-Z release is 1.97
PMPC tries to download release 1.98 and fails.

Would be great if the definitions get corrected.

The issue is still not resolved?!?
Would you mind updating your definitions?
#69
PMPC creates a log file in the same folder it is copied to, what does that log file tell you about the issue?

Is there a way for the downloader to just "follow the language"?
See the marked section in the options in the attached image.

Did you disable using Intune or through something like group policy?
I did not use Intune, just group policy.

You can check the article at https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/automatic-updates---acrobat-reader.html
I successfully used the registry setting to disable auto-updates for Adobe Reader DC.
#73
You can change the portable apps folder, see attached image.
#74
See the attached image about how to change the path for the portable apps folder.

PMPC is still maintained, the last software update was a few months ago.
The software definitions are updated on workdays.

I don't know.
Where do you usually download the installers from?
ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/AcrobatDC/ does not contain the 64-bit installer.
