Hi
Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere, but I couldn't find the solution.
PMPC does a great job finding updates for my apps, but also automatically downloads unwanted portable apps, such as TOR browser.
I can't find a way to prevent it doing so.
Thanks
Mike

It seems to me that when you download, there are checkboxes that need to be disabled

Thanks - but all the boxes are unchecked.

Sorted - right click on the app, and select option not to scan for it.

Right click and "Reset portable's app status" actually! This will remove it from detection and it will not update anymore! unless you select it again :)

Recent reports suggest that PMPC (Patch My PC) has been downloading unwanted portable apps without explicit user consent. This issue has led to concerns among users, as these unexpected directv tv packages installations can clutter systems and potentially introduce security risks. It's advisable to exercise caution when using PMPC and consider alternative software management solutions until this issue is resolved.
