Thanks for this information, our Catalog team has been alerted to this issue.  They are monitoring the Tenable status page to provide the latest version once its available.

Further, it would seem that our workstations that had been updated to 10.8.1 are automatically downgrading themselves back to 10.7.3. This explains why I initially discovered workstations failing to install the 10.8.1 update.

Just posting this as an FYI. Noticed today that we had a few workstations that were failing to install the 10.8.1 update for the Nessus Agent. I was attempting to republish the update and the Publisher got a 404 error when attempting to download the installer. I manually navigated to the downloads page and found it was only offering 10.7.3. Upon further investigation, it would seem there's a known issue their engineers are working on with 10.8.*.

Hi All

We're trying to upgrade the version of Cisco AnyConnect used across our estate to the latest version (4.10) and have successfully used Patch My PC to package it for Intune.

However, we're encountering an issue as some of our devices originally had version 4.2 and were updated to a newer version.  On these PCs, the installer fails.  From manually running the installer, it's because it's looking for the 4.2 installer which was originally in the SCCM Cache but has long since been removed.  If I manually install 4.2 and then let Intune run the 4.10 update again it successfully upgrades.

I know this isn't strictly a Patch My PC issue, but I was wondering if anyone else had encountered it and if so, how did you resolve it as we have over 7000 PCs to update.

Great Question,

We do not currently have a direct timeline on getting Fedramp Certified. In order to start the Fedramp process you first have to have a cloud product, and then you need to have an agency sponsor the submission of that product for Fedramp.

We only just released a cloud product about 8 months ago, and at this time we haven't had an organization request to partner and sponsor it through JAB.

However, with the significant narrowing of scope done in the July 2024 memo, we have had many organizations decide after a brief discussion the limited data that was being processed/used to provide the service did not meet the criteria for:

"The scope of FedRAMP is cloud computing products and services (such as IaaS, Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), and SaaS) that create, collect, process, store, or maintain Federal information on behalf of a Federal agency, and that are not otherwise specified as out of scope below."

If you would like to discuss further, I would love to hear your feedback, and also learn how we can better support our customers in the government sector.

Hello there,

As others have suggested, you can configure the required apps during Autopilot in ESP. Reducing the number of apps will help minimize the Autopilot duration.

Users have reported that adjusting ESP timeout settings and carefully managing application deployments can mitigate timeout issues. For instance, increasing the ESP timeout duration has been suggested to accommodate longer installation processes. Drive Mad

The ModernHomeUpdater.Core namespace is in the entry point PatchMyPc-HomeUpdater executable according to JetBrains dotPeek. Why is your Dependency Injection setup trying to load it from a file?

Maybe Microsoft's move to Snapdragon on Surface laptops will help.  Awesome speed and power efficiency that blows past any Intel-based laptops I've seen.
