Hey, see this article on how to acquire the binary: https://docs.paloaltonetworks.com/globalprotect/4-1/globalprotect-app-user-guide/globalprotect-app-for-windows/download-and-install-the-globalprotect-app-for-windows.html

Once you have that, you'll need to put the binary in the local content repo. See this article for more info on the Patch My PC Publisher local content repository: https://patchmypc.com/local-content-repository-for-licensed-applications-that-require-manual-download

I have an additional question. Can we add any of the optional switches to the MSI command used the scripts. Such as declaring the portal address and other settings (we don't use a lot of them but we have used the PORTAL= switch. Would it convey with subsequent version would we have to make that change everytime?

Thanks!

Eric

Yes, you can right click on products in our Publisher software and choose from a variety of ways to customise packages. The one you seek, to add custom switches to the install, is Modify command land. Anything you enter in here will be append to the arguments we apply be default, which can be seen by observing the Command line column in the right click option Show package info.

Here is documentation on all right click options: https://patchmypc.com/custom-options-available-for-third-party-updates-and-applications
