START OF EDIT (05-23-2018):  I looked into this further.  Yes there are subversions that specifically apply only to the Windows Installer, (Thus the letter "I" in the subversion number for Installer I imagine) so really there is only a minor issue now, and i guess it can be ignored and you can mark this as solved if you want.

ACTUAL OLD VERSION: 2.4.6-I601

ACTUAL NEW VERSION: 2.4.6-I602
PATCHMY PC REPORTS: 2.4.6-6602 (6602 instead of I602).

END OF EDIT (05-23-2018).

Problem with the OpenVPN versioning as noted below:

1) WHAT IS INSTALLED ON MY COMPUTER (IT IS THE LATEST):

a) From the website, note the latest here:

https://openvpn.net/index.php/download/community-downloads.html

OpenVPN 2.4.6 -- released on 2018.04.24 (There is no further subversion numbers).

b) From the command line on my Windows 10 computer (They match as noted by the date and version).

openvpn --version
OpenVPN 2.4.6 x86_64-w64-mingw32 [SSL (OpenSSL)] [LZO] [LZ4] [PKCS11] [AEAD] built on Apr 24 2018

2) WHAT PATCHMYPC REPORTS (I DON'T KNOW WHERE THESE NUMBERS CAME FROM.  NOT SURE IF THERE SHOULD BE SUBVERSION NUMBERS.  FURTHERMORE THEY ARE NOT EVEN CONSISTENT IN THEIR NUMBERING SCHEMES BETWEEN THE CURRENT AND NEW VERSIONS):

a) Current version:

OpenVPN 2.4.6-I601

b) Newer version:

OpenVPN 2.4.6602

Thanks for checking into this.
