Justin, I may have spoken too soon. I verified that I can, in fact, go to the download page and "save as" to the downloads folder using IE. Could it be that the download page has the pop-up that asks to run/save/save as?
#2
Thanks, Justin, the site did not open in IE. A further look showed the same SSL/TLS cipher issues from the past.

Opera 68.0.3618.165 (x64). An web error occurred while downloading the file: UnknownError An exception occurred during a WebClient request.

Two nights in a row this update has failed to download. No mention if it is an SSL issue or source issue. All other updates have processed without issue.

I did as suggested, but received the same error during last night's sync. Same message in log.

Unable to add additional files(s) for Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.11 because the update was previously published with full-content. Republish the update using https://patchmypc.com/faq-scup-catalog#republishing-updates for new changes to take effect.

I followed the directions on the link provided and republished the update twice. I watched the logs and all steps completed per the directions. However, we still get the same warning after our nightly sync. files attached.

We no longer have SCUP installed and we could not find that log file on our server. Would either of those two changes still apply? thx

Thank you, Justin. I have brought this to our AD and Network teams. Their response is "there is nothing to whitelist because we are not blocking any of them. Unless there is some obscure port or protocol they are trying to use. But even then, everything we have tried does resolve and get a response." We are having the issue with Wireshark, WinRAR, and CDBurnerXP. All of which they tested. All respond and all are port 443, which we do not block. Can you think of anything else to try or be more specific on this whitelist? Everything else works brilliantly.

We just set up Patch my PC and we are getting this error on a few applications including Wireshark. We don't understand how most apps work, but a few do not. Are we supposed to whitelist all of the domains listed?
thx
