Title: Unable to Download Certain Apps
Post by: EricW on July 12, 2022, 02:45:48 PM
Hello,
I have run into an issue whereby I am unable to download particular updates. We are using SCCM and when I go to Publish the selected apps, two of them won't download due to security policies at my company. The apps are PuTTY and 7-Zip and they are blocked because of the website they are coming from. Instead of trying to fight against the bureaucracy, I have been able to download the apps and put them into the repository. How do I publish these to be deployed? I do have the PatchMyPC console installed as well.

Eric

If you have the Patch My PC Publisher installed, and have put the installers in the local content repository, you will want to also ensure that you have the option to "Check the local content repository for content files before attempting to download content files from the internet." enabled in order for the Publisher to pick up those local content downloads.
