Vivaldi giving false install complete message

For the past five days or so, Vivaldi browser has shown in PMP as needing an update, and it seems to do complete it. But there it is again the next day. So after tonight's try, I opened Vivaldi and checked for updates. It said I needed the one that PMPC says had been installed. What I noticed tonight, though, was the message with the install: "Install complete Exit Code 7" (it must have been there before). Screenshot attached.

I've been having the same issue for several weeks and posted about. So far absolutely ZERO response from PMPC about this. Starting to wonder if they even care.

This is fixed in Patch My PC v4.2.0.3 which just released today, sorry about the delay!

Follow up: PMPC is right now showing Vivaldi 3.7.2218.52 needs installing, but my currently installed version is Vivaldi  -  3.7.2218.55.

MrNovi

You need to uninstall 3.7.2218.52 after you install .55.. For some reason it installs .55 so that it shows as a separate program so both versions are installed.

Yeah sorry but this is Vivaldi's problem :\
Anyway I think it should be fixed with the next update.
