PMPC is telling me v9.22 is the current version of 7-Zip.  The main website, 7-zip.org, lists v9.20 as the latest non-beta release.  Sourceforge's download page shows 9.22, but all the forum discussions of 9.22 point out that technically 9.22 is still beta software.

I had PDFCreator 1.6.1 on my PatchMyPC test system.  PMPC wanted to upgrade it to 1.6.2, so I let it.  It installed PDF Architect, the PDF Archtect Service, and another PDF Creator service (PDF Converter Service?).  I did not have these 3 items on the original system, and it is possible to install PDFCreator without them.

I had to use IOBit Uninstaller with its "Advanced Scan" to get rid of them since the PDF Architect uninstall does not kill off the services, at least not during the regular uninstall, and it doesn't prompt for a reboot to remove them after the reboot.

IMHO PMPC should not add optional items that are included with programs like PDFCreator if they're not already installed.
