Title: SSMS Out of Date
Post by: damien.solodow on July 11, 2019, 07:34:59 AM
The catalog only shows SQL Server Management Studio up to 17.9.1, but 18.1 came out the second week of June.

Not seeing any issues with v18.1 and showing as an update?

So it shows as an update, but the base install application is showing 17.9.1

Ah got it, the base installs for SQL Management Studio are a little different since their update is an incremental update, not full install. We will look at getting this one out ASAP for 18.1 full install as an application/package.

Sorry I wasn't more specific initially.

It *looks* like for 18.x that it will do an upgrade of older 18.x if detected, or a full install if you don't have a previous 18.x installed.
