Title: Notepad++ Updated. Plugins are removed after update is applied.
Post by: tbruneau on April 07, 2022, 12:22:48 PM
Hi, I am new to the PatchMyPC group. We deployed the 8.3.2 x64 update to a few test systems and we are receiving reports that the plugins are removed after the update has been applied? Is this normal? If so, is there a way to retain the users specific plugins they use? Thanks!

Hi tbruneau
It may be best if you submit a support request from https://patchmypc.com/technical-support and include the following logs from a client. https://patchmypc.com/collecting-log-files-for-patch-my-pc-support#update-troubleshooting-client-logs  be sure to include any relevant screenshots and plugin information.

Some plug-ins are removed due to incompatibility with the latest Notepad++ release.
This is described in the release notes of Notepad++ or the support forum of Notepad++.
It is not an issue with PMPC.
