I thought, there is a different between "LibreOffice (x64)" and "LibreOffice Latest (MSI-x64)"?
What the issue is here, we want to use the "Still" version of LibreOffice and not the "Fresh" version.
But currently both are the same download file.
So, all LibreOffice 24.2 (Still) installations will be upgraded to the 24.8 (Fresh) version.
Could you modify your detection, to prevent this?

Thanks!

for LibreOffice, we usually patch within each major version (such as 24.8). However, if you opt for the "Latest" version, it will replace any older major versions and update to the newest one available in our catalog. Let me know if you have any questions!

Currently the download page https://www.libreoffice.org/download/download-libreoffice only offers up 25.2.0 and 24.8.2. There is no mention of 24.2 being the still/stable release?

These are the versions currently in our catalog:

LibreOffice (x64)
24.8.4.2
https://download.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/stable/24.8.4/win/x86_64/LibreOffice_24.8.4_Win_x86-64.msi

LibreOffice Latest (MSI-x64)
25.2.0.3
https://download.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/stable/25.2.0/win/x86_64/LibreOffice_25.2.0_Win_x86-64.msi

It seems "The Foundation Documents" has released 24.8. as "Fresh" version first, but now 25.2. is the "Fresh" version and 24.8 is "Still".
So all is fine now.
I think it was not Patch-My-PCs "fault".

If I look closely, LibreOffice should not be updated, when "LibreOffice (x64)" and "LibreOffice Latest" have the same source (version).

But I know it is difficult to get this done, and it is not so important.
