Patch MY PC Version 5.0.7.0 will no longer open

DARPATCHMYPC!

I have been using patch my pc for quite some time and have been extremely happy with it. I recently upgraded to version 5.0.7.0 and it was working perfectly for several months (since it became available). Two days ago it stopped opening. I have spent a considerable amount of time and have exhausted every option including this forum trying to fix it. I have gone back to version 4.5 which I used for quite some time and it still works. This version is only checking 10 apps however, while version 5.0.7.0 monitored considerably more apps. I have uninstalled version 5.0.7.0 and reinstalled version 4.5 which is still working. Can someone please help me resolve this problem. I cannot find an acceptable alternative.

Can you try running the latest version via: https://patchmypc.com/product/home-updater

When you launch the updater, does it just not show the app? Is the icon listed in the taskbar?

Thank you for your response. When I launch the latest version the app does not open. The app does appear on my desktop. The app was running for several months and then suddenly stopped several days ago.

Do you see any errors in the Windows event viewer around the time that you try to open the app if you try to reopen it?

No, I do not see any errors in windows event viewer. I still have no problem using the older version 4.5 which only has 10 apps covered while version 5.0.7.0 was covering many more apps.

Justin, I was able to go on the internet using the screenshots I sent you and apply several fixes which finally resolved the problem. Thank you for your help!
